Director of Cardiopulmonary, Respiratory, and Sleep Lab - Tennessee

Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization
Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
Coordinates and directs internal/external audits
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols
Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
Performs or assists with the performance and evaluations and disciplinary actions.
Assess and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.
Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedure and protocols.
Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
Performs Electrocardiogram, Holter Monitoring and Scanning, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, attend all C-Sections and high rick deliveries of newborn, Arterial Blood Gas Sticks, Capillary sticks, Analyzation of Arterial Blood Gas, Cord Blood Gases, Capillary Blood Gases and Carboxyhemogloblin, Maintenance and troubleshooting of Arterial Blood Gas Analyzer, Pulmonary Function Studies, Electroencephalograms, Stress Testing, Cardiac Rehabilitation
Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
Monitors department budget, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies, monitors usage and supply stock, and oversees equipment's function.
Collaborates with physicians and health care team members to provide care to the patients.
Ensures the patient care delivered follows recommended standards of care in a manner that promotes positive outcomes, avoids harm to patients and promotes health and healing.
Associates in Respiratory Required. Bachelors degree preferred.
Five years of clinical skillset required.
Three years of supervising experience required.
Must possess thorough understanding of the patient care process, TJC standards, Core Measures and Performance Improvement Process.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)

Facility is 99 bed acute care facility.
Position will report to the CNO.
Person will supervise around 16 and must be willing to jump in and be hands on from time to time as needed.
Looking for a person who knowledgeable and strong in TJC and CMS standards.
Someone that can come in and handle the department as if they were the CEO of their department.
The range is around $70,000 -$75,000 depending on experience. There is an annual bonus for this position and the facility offers a great benefit package and relocation is offered.
